Hello hivers, i am back again and today, i am here to discuss with you, some interesting and cool facts about video editing, Adobe Premier pro to be precise.

First of all, in order to become a very good editor, there are certain things you need to know , and certain skills you need to possess.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO POSSESS?
Another assets we need to possess is patience. As I said in one of my earlier post, a disadvantage of editing is the fact that it takes a long time. Sometimes making a 30 second to 1 minute video can even take up to a whole day or even a couple of days due to the attention to detail needed when making a video, so you need to be able to exercise patience unless you might not be able to cope with editing.
The last fact I want to make is the fact that you need to have passion in order to succeed as an editor. Many people go into different skills and businesses because of the financial aspects or because of the fact that many other people are doing it and I know some people who are under this category when it comes to video editing, and my advice is, when going into a business or starting something new, make sure you have passion for it because the more passion you have for it, the higher your determination and drive gets, it is very easy to give up if something doesn’t work out for you in the early stages but sometimes you just have to push on till you find your breakthrough, and having passion for that particular business can help.
PART ONE(EFFECTS AND TRANSITIONS)
Now, like i said above, i will be showing you some cool aspects of Video editing, and i’ll start with the effects section.
Effects are very fundamental when editing, because they are what really differentiates new and edited videos from the original. And here are some of my favorite effects:

My 3 best categories are:
• Color correction
And under color correction, my best effect is the change color
A little secret i’ll tell you, is that this is the effect added to change the background in movies, i used to think you could only change the background if you recorded in front of a green screen, but with this, you don’t even need that, as long as it is a plain background.
• Stylize
And under stylize, my best effect is posterize
Posterize effects is mainly used when making music related videos, it changes the look of the picture or video to look a little bit more artistry, like a painting, you can also decide on which color to change to.

And under generate, my best effect is lightning
This is used to add lightning to a picture or video, it can be edited to any color, length, width and even how you want the movement of the lightning to be.

Next i will be talking to you about my favorite transitions and how they are used.
Transitions are basically like animations which are used in a video when switching from one video to another.
These are all the transitions available on Adobe Premier pro
My three preferred categories are:
• 3D motion
And under this, i use the cube spin, which makes videos switch in a cube form
• Zoom
And under this, i use the cross zoom, it is very easy, and straightforward, it just zooms into another video very smoothly
• Iris
Lastly, under this i use the iris round.
Here, while a video is playing, the next video comes out in a circular form. It zooms out from a small circle, and keeps getting bigger till it fills the screen.
These are a few effects and transitions i use and they are also advisable to use if you would like to try them out.
SOME ADVICE I WILL ALSO GIVE IS TO:
Always use a good and compatible computer, because of size and if the computer can handle the software
It is also good to take breaks in between work, because editing can take a very long time, and working for hours at a stretch can be very tiring and weakening.
