Hi @bdmillergallery, thank you for such open letter it is almost like to have a pick into biography book. I agree with you probably because of the end of the year when it is a time to sum up and think what we have done what we want to achieve you decided to put your thoughts together. I saw your post earlier but wanted to take time and read it to collect my thoughts to write a comment to. Like many Artists, it feels that it is a journey of discovery, when we try many different things, learn on our own mistakes and improve our skills. That is why sometimes good to keep the old works so later you can see what has been changed. Since I started to do photos while doing my works that makes it easier later to analyse if I could improve something doing it another way.

There are many works that look amazing such 'O'Brien's Cottage'-bauritful winter scene, cosy nice place and fairy tale like house, 'Pennsylvania Mountainside' like the way you made highlights on trees and flowers, 'Snow In February'-great used blue-violet for shadows on snow. Sea motif and lighthouse are topics that I love in general. 'Vineyards First Light' -soft beautiful sky in harmony with greens.
