Had another good evening at SyncHerts last night. This is a group of people in the IT industry who get together each month for chat and to listen to talks. This month the talks were on continuous delivery and product management. That sounds dry, but the second talk especially was fascinating. Speaker Simon Keen has a lot of experience and speaks passionately about how important it is to care about your products.
It was also an opportunity to see some people from Herts LUG and talk about Linux. It's generally a good event if you are interested in what's going on in IT. It's good to know what happens outside your own field and you get to meet interesting people. There were about thirty there, but only three ladies. It's still very male dominated.
