Description from Strava:
I decided on an easy run today as I did quite a lot at the weekend. It has turned overcast, but there is no sign of rain. We have a hosepipe ban for now. The farmers have still been out harvesting their crops so the fields were full of hay bales.

I managed to stay mostly in heart zone 2 by keeping to a gentle pace. I have got used to that now and I may be slightly quicker than when I started doing this sort of run.

I saw the dog with wheels again today. It seems happy enough. There are always lots of people out with their dogs and I think most clear up any mess as there is not much around.

I took a long way around as I want to keep up my weekly distance. I would like to be doing at least 40km each week and I am not quite managing that. I will generally do four runs including parkrun.

The Sodajerker podcast had a good interview with Phil Collins talking about his songwriting process. I know he has not been well recently, but he sounded good. I saw him live many years ago and also saw Genesis play a huge gig at Knebworth.

Have a good week and run free.
