Description from Strava:
I was still feeling a bit tired from my weekend runs, but then with it warming up again that will not help. Despite that I was still keen to get out for a run.
This was another of not looking at my watch so it was just what I felt like doing. I was not going to push too hard. It was yet another lap of Fairfield that I must have done hundreds of times, but it is nice up there away from the roads.
There were a few people around. The kids heading to school were in sports kit as they may be allowed to wear that instead of standard uniform on warmer days. Other people were walking their dogs and there were a few runners.
My legs managed to keep going and my only pause was to photograph the view across the countryside when I got up the hill. When I crossed the road into Fairfield a car stopped for me so I could keep going.
On my way back down I saw the same friend who was out running on Sunday, but this time he was on his bike. He is into triathlon so needs lots of training. Another friend at work did a 'tough mudder' event at the weekend and had rope burns on his legs. I just do not fancy that sort of event. Running is enough of a challenge for me.
Temperatures could peak at 33C on Thursday. I expect I will be in our pool again to cool off a bit. I do enjoy a swim. We have been busy in the garden lately as it needs some watering. Various crops are starting to produce, but then the raspberries have been fruitful for a while.
Stay cool and run free.
