Description from Strava:
It is the last day of the work Move in May challenge so I aimed for a long, easy run. Although it is supposed to be getting cooler it was still fairly warm. There are lots of poppies and other flowers out which may be contributing to my hayfever. I took a tablet before I went out, but my nose still dripped. I was sweating well too.
I did the long loop through Fairfield to Letchworth then Norton and Stotfold. I was taking the longer options to stretch it out. As on other runs I was trying to keep to heart zone 2, but ended up with about the same time in zone 3 as I was just over the limit at times. That is okay as it was still gentle apart from the last bit where I just wanted to get home and my legs had something left.
There were lots of runners out today and quite a few cyclists enjoying the nice weather. I had a swim on our pool yesterday and may go in again today. I can do a few strokes in that for some general exercise. I do seem to be improving as I can do more chin-ups now. I have been working on 'dead hangs' which are hard to hold for long, but are said to be good. Mixing up the exercises ought to help, but I just do what I can.
Have a great Sunday and run free!
