Description from Strava:
The weather was not looking too promising at lunch time today with a few drops of rain, but it held off whilst I was out around Stevenage. I started off on the long hill up to Fairlands Valley Park, but then I saw some steps heading off and decided to see where they lead to.

There was more climbing to come as I trekked around the north side of town. This was largely new territory to me and I had to consult the map to see where I would end up. At some point I could see the new tower blocks and cranes near work so I knew to head that way.

It was mostly downhill on the way back and so much easier. I managed to stay away from the main roads that can be pretty noisy.

I was not too bad a run really. My back is still a little sore, but not enough to stop me running. I need to do more exercises to strengthen it. I would also like to be more flexible as I am a long way from being able to touch my toes these days.

I was listening to Desert Island Disks with guest Sir Jony Ive who designed a lot of products for Apple. He is about my age.

Have a good week and run free!
