I enjoy reading the news every day, as it has become a daily ritual for me and the best way to start my day. I open my laptop, brew some coffee, and read about the latest news on crypto, the economy, and geopolitics. Not only is it a ritual, but it is also a great way to stay informed about current events that could affect my crypto portfolio and life in general. Therefore, I have decided to start saving the best articles I come across during the week and create one or two posts. If something extremely important comes up, I will use https://alpha.leofinance.io/ to post it immediately.
As this is my first attempt, I would appreciate any feedback from the Hive community to see if this is something that would interest them. In my opinion, the two hottest topics in the news currently are crypto and politics.
Donald Trump indictment
Donald Trump has been indicted by a grand jury in Manhattan on charges related to the payment of hush money to a porn star during his 2016 campaign. So, they finally sent Donald Trump to trial. From what I understand, he is the first former US president to be impeached and now send to trial, and he is trying to use the trial to his advantage for the upcoming election. Will he succeed? Even Republicans who dislike him are supporting him in this trial, seeing it as a war between the Democratic and Republican parties. I think this is partially accurate because the case is based on Trump's alleged involvement with a former pornstar and some questionable financial transactions. Although these actions may be illegal and warrant indictment, I believe that the timing and unfolding of events are motivated by his presidential run. As someone who does not live in America, I believe he was a poor president.

Elon Musk Change Twitter's Logo to Dogecoin logo
Elon did it again and pumped that Doge. He changed his Twitter logo to Dogecoin's logo as he had promised. What do I believe? Elon is such a big market manipulator, he has big bags of Doge, and he is doing all of that to dump on us. This kind of attitude, and of course the pump as a response, is something that will hurt the space and not help him in the long run. He probably hopes to get back the money he spent on the Twitter acquisition by dumping Dogecoin.
Putin Says US-Russia Ties in ‘Deep Crisis,’ Blames Washington
That's nothing new. I find the comment unnecessary since it's obvious to everyone that each and every day Russia is edging closer to a potential conflict with the US, just like in the old days of the Soviet Union. Will this actually happen? Who knows, but this time around I think China is taking the lead and not Russia While the US is declining.

Switzerland cuts bonus payouts for top Credit Suisse management
So Credit Suisse has failed, and after all that, they are still talking about cutting bonuses for now? Really, to get a bonus for what? Because the top levels of management drove one of the biggest banks in the world to failure? I find it irritating and insulting to the government that is essentially paying for the whole merger, while some people are still trying to get the big check.
Business Is Booming for Germany’s Defense Contractors
This is something that can be expected, not just for Germany but also for all the major defense contractor countries like the US, France, Russia, and Italy, as seen in the chart.
With so many weapons being sent to help Ukraine, new ones must be made, and the countries and companies manufacturing those weapons will likely be the ones benefiting the most financially from the war. Moreover, testing those weapons in live combat is the greatest form of advertising they can have.
