The spider is called a peasant friend because he preys on pests. He feeds on small insects and pests that disturb the plants. Movement is very fast in eating away prey. This type of spider is also referred to as one of the fastest animals in the world.
He does not make nets as his nest like any other spider. The spider moves and pounces on its prey by jumping.
I photographed this little spider in the rice field of Aceh Besar on 20 August 2017 ago. Inside his mouth there is a new insect in his prey.
