The final act.

It's not so much the photo but a story behind it that I liked in this street scene in Ukraine.

The story is a folk fairy tale for kids(1), about a mitten, lost in a forest by an old grandpa. Forest animals, one by one, came to the mitten, looking for shelter, got in and settled there. Don't ask me how they managed to fit in, all seven of them: a mouse, a frog, a hare, a fox, a boar, a wolf and a bear. Until the grandpa and his dog came back, and found the lost mitten.

The dog barked, the forest animals ran away, and grandpa got his mitten back.

In this photo you are witnessing a final act of the drama, with a dog in front of a store called "Mitten". I was waiting for the dog to bark, half expecting some animals to run out of the Mitten. Alas, when we become adults, fairy tales disappear : (
