this garden bench with geraniums behind it
is set on a patch of bare soil by the road. It's all worn out, with boards waiting for a fresh coat of paint. Yet it seems always inviting, waiting for a weary traveler to sit down and rest. Is it because of the geraniums, enveloping you with the healing oils? Or the mighty tree above it, its crown sheltering from the rain and sun.
