Hello steemians have a good day! My blog for this day is all about the folk dances of our country which is Philippines.
Here are the list of the very known folk dances in the Philippines.

The Itik-Itik
The description of this dances is that the steps mimic the way a duck walks, as well as that the duck splashes the water on its back to attract a mate. According to the dance expertise or to the popular dance tradition, this dance was created by Ms. Kanang who choreographed the steps.
The Tinikling it is the very known dance in the Philippines because every occasion this dance is the number one list that will be perform to the dancers specially in native competition. This dance imitate the movement of the tinikling bird as it walks around through the grass and between the branches. They perform this dance using the bamboo poles. This dance is composed of three basic steps which is the Single, doubles and hops.
The Sayaw sa Bangko
This kind of dance will be performed on top of the narrow bench, make sure that dancers of the sayaw sa bangko have a good balance and have a confident, because they will go through a series of movement that include impressive, like acrobatics.
The Pandango sa Ilaw
This dance is similar to the Spanish fandango. The dancer of pandango needed a good balance like the sayaw sa bangko, because this dance will be performed while balancing the three oil lamps,both in hand and the one is on the top of the head. This dance originated in Labang Island
The Carinosa
This dance need a good dancer that has a harmony! Dancer will make a good movement of flirtatious of his or her partner the way they dance. The essence of this dance is the courtship between the two lovers or the two sweethearts.
