What we have here is something that I have been thinking about for over a month. Unfortunately, I tend to overthink things and never do them. So... I'm just gonna do it even though it may be half-assed and not exactly what I want :-0

What I've been thinking about is ways to incentivize people to power-up and hold STEEM. I have a lot of grandiose plans for a total system for this, but can't seem to get past the planning. What I'm gonna do instead of getting everything all set ahead of time is just start with a less than satisfactory (to me) giveaway and build all of my grandiose ideas later :-) It may be rough, but I'm gonna make it work.

A short thanks to @streetstyle. I have been thinking about this for a while, but your post on #SPUD #steempowerupday really gave me the push to just go ahead with my giveaway idea! It may not be much at first, but I plan on making it a recurring thing (probably weekly on sundays). Thanks for the push even though you had no idea. Hope I'm not stepping on your toes!

What You Do:

1. Power Up some STEEM after this is posted - any amount will do
2. Comment on this post - I've got skin in the game! Just copy/paste that phrase to ensure validity.
3. Resteem if possible. Not mandatory, but I don't have many followers and would like as many people involved as possible.
4. Upvote if you like the idea. Also not mandatory but very helpful.
5. Follow if you like for further info on future plans and giveaways. Once again not mandatory

2. Send you 0.1 STEEM Power (SP). That's right SP. I want to encourage and ensure powering up, so I am going to send STEEM Power (SP). Force the vesting for you :-) After all, I am using my STEEM and not my SP to send you SP. Even if the amount you power up is less than I give. I am also putting skin in this game!

I realize I may be biting off more than I can chew, and future giveaways may not be this much. Or they may be more.

I also realize that his may not be safe or good for me or my powering up plans, but I'm gonna go with it for this week.
