Everyone speaks about it, hears things about it, and it even dictates our lifes. The COVID-19 is indeed all over the place today. But what is this beast exactly? @cyprianj dove into it and wrote a very nice comprehensive post on the topic. You will learn all the big lines. Feel free to have a look and ask him any further question.

A toy example of molecule aggregation to familiarize with LAMMPS software

One of our core STEMsocial members, @dexterdev, has recently started a new series discussing coarse-grained lipid models (i.e. his own research). In this post, he details how to get used to a piece of software called LAMMPS, that allows one to simulate interactions between (many, see the picture) particles or atoms. Feel free to have a look and even try: the code is free!

STEMSocial offers support to anyone using our app, stem.openhive.network. We recall that:

• Posting an article through the app automatically yields a 5% stronger upvote at curation time.
• Posting a reply to an article (or to another reply) from the app can sometimes yield some support.
• Setting @steemstem as a beneficiary to the post automatically yields a stronger upvote (up to 5%).
