Between every two pines is a doorway to a new world.

Traveling is just another opportunity to improve on our photography skills.
While in Mindanao early last month, our original plan of staying in Kampo Juan was changed instead to staying with relatives in Manolo, Fortich which was a blessing in disguise because we were able to see relatives and also visit Dahilayan!
But because both James and I are not fans of adventure rides which Dahilayan Adventure Park is well known of, we spent our entire day at this cold place full of pine trees picture taking ourselves and some random strangers.
Our day started very early by traveling through the cold streets of Manolo, Fortich down to Camp Philips and into the vast pineapple plantations. It was very cold but we enjoyed the scenery!
Arriving at Dahilayan Adventure Park, we proceed to Pinegrove Mountain Lodge for breakfast. Their breakfast menu was limited but it we lived with it.
The pine trees surrounding the resort was awesome that we spent our first two hours just picture taking ourselves with the trees, we went down the stairs into the core of the forest while also observing all those who were taking the rides around.
There's Python Roller Zipride available and their adrenaline pumping Dropzone 120 Ft. Freefall Ride.
Here are some of our photos at the pine tree forest of Pinegrove Mountain Lodge.
Only a few guests were passing around this area, perhaps because the main entrance for the adventure park was actually in a separate gate which is farther than the Pinegrove Mountain Lodge but was still closed when we arrived that early morning. So we took advantage of being the first few visitors in this section.
Both of us felt really at home while we enjoy the cold weather with our warmers on! We even went lying in its grassy grounds! We both wished our place back home in Cebu has the same weather temperature as what we were enjoying at that moment.
Jean brought with her an Alunsina Journal and so it became our subject as well. This is a really nice handcrafted buckled book with snap buttons and border stitches, code RJB13. The paper don't bleed even when using dark brush pens!
This is very close to Jean's heart because she bought it in Sagada's Gaia Cafe and Crafts last February 2016, during our first wedding anniversary.
It was after nine in the morning that we went to the main adventure park. This was where most of the rides are catered. There were several rides that can be tried by all visitors of any age.
And yet another pine tree forest park where there are tables for visitors to stay at, it is just a perfect spot for those who are doing prenuptial photo shoot.
There's also an in house restaurant inside the park where we had lunch. They serve really good Ceasar Salad, the lettuces were all fresh and crispy and sweet, you should try it if you get to visit Dahilayan!
But more importantly, we found another great spot for photography. Just right next to the restaurant is a Koi pond facing the resort's Luge. So, again we spent a few minutes taking photos of ourselves again!
And when we had the place to ourselves, James took this photo. There's a lot of Koi fishes in here and we love the wooden flooring!
It was time to go and while we were trying to figure out if we could pass by a short cut back to Pinegrove Mountain Lodge, Jean snapped a photo of James as he was walking towards the pine tree forest.
Dahilayan Adventure Park offers different adventure rides but if you are like us who are not into these rides, don't worry, you can definitely still enjoy it because of the good weather, the beautiful ambiance and can even take it as an opportunity to take wonderful photographs!
