Hello! New steem-powered software project here.

I am inspired by community-oriented projects so I created SteemSoftware to be a collection of functionality submitted by fellow steemians.

The gist of this project is simple:

• You request new functionality in the comments.
• I code it and publish the resulting program to our github page.
• Rinse and repeat!

All the resulting software is dedicated to the public domain.

Hints:

• The software suite is composed of independent single-purpose modules.
• Requested functionality must be concrete i.e. "Convert MP3 to OGG", "Scrape baseball data from ESPN.com to excel", "Sort numbers in text file", et cetera.
• You can suggest modules opening non-featured categories. There is always space for adding more.

How to request?

Simply comment by mentioning @steemsoftware followed by the word "REQUEST" + your module idea.

Example:

@steemsoftware REQUEST Add thumbnail generator for selected directory.
