I haven't settled on a name yet, so the titles will only be similar to each other for a while. More uniformity to come, but I kinda like variations for now.
☠︎
Everything about this run feels earlier than usual. It's probably because I had a tall stack of bottles, car was getting full, and because of a large donation of items. A good friend gave me their recyclables while visiting.
Plastic
I've never had this much plastic.
I have more plastic than usual thanks to a generous donation from a friend of a friend. People like the people I like too.
Aluminum
Today is the 3rd and Cinco De Mayo is approaching. I'm already thinking ahead. It's dumb. There will lots of beer cans for me to remove from roadside on the 6th. This trip, I have lots of beer cans already. Not my beer. I work with tourists and I collect aluminum cans from the road while I exercise.
Lol, the image makes me laugh. None of it was mine. I don't consume any of those products!!!
Scrap
See that scrap metal in the image above? I'll get a few cent. It was a flat-screen TV wall mount. Now it's gonna be some small change.
Glass
This is almost all mine. I've been drinking lots of mineral water mixed with tart cherry juice or cranberry juice. It's yummy. The glass is bulky. It's the main reason why I'm not waiting longer to make a run to the recycling center.
That's about $37 worth of mineral water there. I buy it when it's on sale at the high-end Mexican market (North Gate). I could tell a interesting distribution story about this water. Let me know if you're interested.
This run earned $7.01 (they kept the penny and I walked away with $7) in CRV and TV bracket. Most of this load came from walks around my #urban environments, donations, and (kidney/bladder health) glass.
Lot's of urinating occurred and... oh yeah... this is about the money. Sorry, I often confuse the two. Money... peepee... trash... grabage... music... it's all here.
Plastic is still $1.33.
Cans still goes for $1.66.
Glass still same $0.106.
Iron goes for... zero, but I got paid.
I know of a few other places, but I haven't scoped them out yet.
Plastic and glass were the bgi bread winners for this run. Those items take up lots of room, but I make it easy and I use this cash for another errand. I'm just a cash broker/delivery person. It's not really mine. I'm just fancy storage with lots of pubic hair.
