Wait...What?
If you were expecting the member spotlight and a featured Savvy Steemian this week, we're switching things up....
A huge part of the Steem experience is of course, the members that bring so much value to the blockchain. But the shining light for Steem and how most people will engage and learn about Steem is through it's amazing applications.
So once a month, we will feature an application that is not only doing massive things to raise awareness for the Steem blockchain, but also included in the SteemSavvy training.
And as we have just added @SteemHunt to the training modules inside of SteemSavvy, we thought it would be a great time to highlight this amazing and game changing application!
What Is SteemHunt?
Let's get the definition of it direct from SteemHunt.com itself!
Think of SteemHunt like this...There are amazing products out there online, that are trying to get traffic and attention. An early adopters are the PERFECT bridge between the public and raising awareness for it.
So why not REWARD people for finding, sharing and talking about these amazing products?
That's SteemHunt....
You get rewarded for finding awesome stuff and sharing it with the community!
That Sounds Like A Lot Of Work...Is It?
Not at all, first....SteemHunt is built on top of Steem, so it works seamlessly with SteemConnect. Simply log into your SteemHunt account and you can easily add your product review to the system...
Look for the 'plus sign' on the top right of your members area....And this page shows up. Easily add a link to the product, some pics, a brief description and you have created your first 'hunt'...
Sounds Great....Exactly How Are We Rewarded?
And here....Is the real gold when it comes to SteemHunt. You are rewarded in many ways but the big two are...Steem upvotes from the @SteemHunt account for the work you do in finding these products. But also in the form of their native HUNT token.
In case you have been wondering about all the hype recently concerning SteemHunt. They just finished up their Initial Exchange Offering (IEO). Where 3 rounds of token sales sold out in record time...
The first 2 sold out in about 15 seconds or less...!
And the 3rd round sold out in less than 15 minutes.
So yeah....This might be a good time to start earning some HUNT tokens. ;)
And you can...Simply by finding cool things online and sharing it with the SteemHunt and Steem communities!
How awesome is that?
O.K. This Got Interesting...How Do I Know What I Will Be Rewarded For Finding Products?
SteemHunt has a really cool formula in place that determines how much each member is rewarded. The formula is called a 'User Score' and it goes like this...
Now I just got started with SteemHunt but as you can see...I'm already being rewarded with HUNT....
We're Big Fans...So We Added SteemHunt To SteemSavvy!
That's right...We have just recently added a brand new training lesson video that goes in depth with SteemHunt and all it's awesome features.
This application is featured in the 'dApps of Steem' module inside of your SteemSavvy training platform and can be unlocked by going through the previous training.
And it gets better...
Once you complete your SteemHunt lesson inside of SteemSavvy we will reward you with the newest badge that you can show off proudly on your profile page and around social media :)
(The brand new @SteemHunt badge is ready to be claimed!)
So To Sum It All Up...
SteemHunt is an awesome application on Steem that rewards it's users for finding cool products around the internet.
It rewards you in two ways...Through upvotes on Steem as well as distribution of their HUNT tokens.
The interface is SUPER simple to use and their user experience is one of the better ones on any dApp on Steem.
HUNT recently completed it's IEO where all 3 rounds were sold out in record time. Over $450k was raised from the sale.
Delegation is something we HIGHLY recommend. This is a product with a strong development team, solid roadmap and a very bright future!
But enough talking....
Be sure to log into SteemSavvy now and unlock your SteemHunt training. We know you are going to love this application and all the potential it brings to your Steem journey.
Like with the previous Member spotlights, we will also be sending 25 Steem Power for all dApps that are featured on this blog every month. We want to support the members of Steem but also these amazing applications that addd so much to Steem and of course....The SteemSavvy training platform.
