I feel this is a good question for some people who don't want to have children and I'm curious what the rest of you do. The author says that she tries to make it as clear as possible from early, but some people feel that they can change her. This must be frustrating! How do you convey that no matter what happens, I will never change my mind.

I feel we should say it as early as it comes up. I would feel bad if I misled someone and I would also feel bad if someone thought they could change me. I won't ever change on some things. These things fit with my long term plans in life.
One of the answerers kind of had the same feelings:

After finding enough basic ground on the first date, that you know the person is not a complete waste of your time. Ask them what their long-term relationship goals are/what they are hoping to find; are they looking for something that eventually becomes serious? do they want somebody that pushes their career? and importantly, do they see children as part of their future?

What about you? When would you convey this information to your date? Earlier? Later? Also, are you absolutely certain you won't change your mind?
