It's a process of growing plants in a soil-less system, uses a reservoir tank of water and nutrients circulating through rails and bucket setups. Check out my previous post on how they are built.

That was part of the design goal when I built it, it needed to look like it belonged in the living/dining room area as well as function properly to grow large amounts of food for us. The continuous waterfall

Thank you. I use a mix of BLUE/RED and WHITE (daylight) LED bars for lighting as that gives the best spectrum (leaning towards blue) for what I need and uses much less electricity. The plants are started

Check out some of my previous posts for indoor wall gardens using LED grow lights. I grow lettuce and herbs inside, they do much better this way instead of out in the heat.

Yeah there are lots of different water soluble nutrients available, it's a matter of finding what works for your system, conditions, and type of food you are growing. I will do a post on the dry blend

Yeah they do come up fast in the BioDome under the LEDs. It's been only 7 days. I totally forgot to put a paper with the date on it when I took the pictures to log that. I need to go do that real quick

They are specific wavelengths for plant production (well for optimal growth) but plants generally only absorb the red and blue spectrum of light, the other colors are reflected out and we see the plant
