Dear Steem & Steemit: We may have our differences, but we all love you.
This song's lyrics are quite ironic.
I'm also not awkwardly waving in the snap. I was spinning my stick and thought it looked funny when my camera couldn't capture the movement. I then tried to play with the Steem logo as a flame.
I've been meaning to cover this song for a while, and my Video-to-MP3 software finally allowed me to download the drumless version via its new patch.
Drum Rehab: After getting drilled by a 95-100 mph line drive in my left shoulder blade at batting practice yesterday (from ~25 feet away), I thought playing the drums would be good physical therapy. My shoulder socket and muscles/ligaments hurt from absorbing the violent shock, but I think I'll be ok. I can handle pain, but it was pretty bad yesterday. I may not be able to play baseball this weekend, which would be the first innings I won't been in the lineup in several years. Baseball is a priority and I'm committed, just like with Steem. I guess this is my punishment for practicing during the week when others snooze.
This track was natural and fun to play since I used to play it ages ago. It only took me about 45 minutes to absorb what I needed to play and get this full take down. It's not perfect, but neither is Steem, and I need to ship packages for my business now.
Hope you enjoyed.
Why do you love Steem/Steemit?
Rock on,
