I'm terrible at selling and will always be. I don't think it's greed at all. I'm just irrationally long as I've see the majority of the world just starting to catch on. First it was me, then friends, then a company, then companies, then a country, then countries... Supply and demand!!
Sometimes the information overload distracts me from the reality that it's ok to sell a little, even if it's to diversify. I often talk myself out of selling blue chips for younger projects because I feel that steady wins the race, where holding is a defense mechanism to not face reality that I need to make a decision on what other projects I'll start buying into. Thankfully DeFi and staking interest have been my means of doing that, along with airdrops. I've used that passive income to diversify instead of selling my original stuff, which reduces my tax burden and overall risk of straying away from the big caps.
Ironically, blogging on Hive often consumes a lot of time on the entertainment and grinding it out for rewards end. There's enough info on there to get overload if you really get into content consumption and commenting. For some reason, I'm stubborn to keep hammering away on the creation side to find a place to vent and self-administer some therapy for some of the things I come across in my daily ventures... as well as a platform to reinforce my mission statements in crypto.
