The irony is so true. I’m embarrassed and ashamed for my those in my city that waste like this, and am definitely the eccentric off the default path. The few here who do understand what I do really get moved at the sacrifice I’ve made and the effort, so that keeps my fire doing a little more when I feel like I’m barely making a dent. People have tried to judge me, or doormen will come outside and give me suspicious looks, but I power on with confidence to make them be the uncomfortable ones. One person even accused me of stealing identities... and I turned around and showed her a stack of 7 sealed puzzles I was clearly saving to give her an eye roll and little attitude.
