Your questions are such great ones that I’m more intrigued about how you would answer them than giving you my own input:P While I believe that all addictions are harmful and thus shouldn’t be compared in their degree of harm, I still think that substance addictions have a component that for instance my potential addiction to running doesn’t. And it’s the psychological and physical excruciating pain that they bring upon when in withdrawal. From what I have read and seen with my own eyes, going through a drug withdrawal appears to be one of the most painful experiences one can go through. To add on to the already unbearable pain is the fact that in such a moment, the only way to make this suffering end is to give in to the substance that has brought the person to end in this agonizing position in the first place.
I assume 4 purple toes out of 10 isn’t that bad of a ratio;) on the flipside, with snow and colder weather already here, my worst dreaded fear might just happen sooner than I would like it to be. With icey roads, it is impossible to run outdoors, even with the greatest gear:P
I trust the Universe for imposing on me choices that I have a hard time making for myself🤫
