One reason why we are driving powering up is the key insight I've got from several analysis I've done on country specific tags. I have so far analyzed tags from these countries:
I have seen that the more Steem Power holder a community has, the bigger the propensity for that community to advance in terms of reputation and Steem Power holding. That is common sense yes, but the data-points made it glaring, and convinced me that if we are to really drive growth for our community in @steemph we need to make urgent call to power up.
I recently got rewarded by @sndbox for being one of the cohorts who powered up the most for last week. I will use the 10 Steem Dollar I got to reward the top most powered up attendee of SteemPH Meet Up Caravan #1 - Bulacan. There would also be a reward of 5 and 3 Steem Dollars for the Top 2 and Top 3 respectively.
These prizes will be funded from the @sndbox reward I got for one of the most powered-up cohort last week (10 Steem Dollars), and from the
@steemph.manila communal account (8 Steem Dollars).
There's a couple of more @steemph sub-communities that are doing power up challenge namely
@steemph.davao as announced in Calling All Davaoenos | New Initiatives: Featured Contents & Power-UP Brigade, and
@steemph.cebu in Announcing Steemph.cebu's Power-up Challenge. Rewarding Cebuanos Powering-up | Win SBDs!
Please check those posts out too if you are from those localities. The SteemPH Meet Up Caravan Power Up Challenge is a @steemph initiative to drive accumulation of Steem Power within the
@steemph communities where there is currently no sub-community.
