CAREFUL TO DISCIPLINE

Proverbs 13:24
Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.

REFLECTIONS:

1. It is not easy for some loving parents to discipline their children, but it it is necessary. One of the greatest responsibilities that God gives parents is the nurture and guidance of their children.

2. We must note that lack of proper discipline puts parents' love in question because it shows lack of concern for the character development of the children.

3. Without correction, our children grow up with no clear understanding of right and wrong and with little or no direction to their lives. Don't be afraid to discipline the children... It is an act of love. Let us also remember that our efforts can't make our children wise, let us direct children to seek God's wisdom above all.

• To organize social awareness camps and counseling sessions for kids going through life abuse.
