All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. - Deuteronomy 28:2-3
If we obey the Lord our God, we will receive the following blessings and not just financially:
1. Blessing of PEACE
A lot of people nowadays don't have peace on their lives but if we have God, peace can be found.
The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.- PSALM 29:11
2. Blessings of JOY
True joy and happiness can be found if we obey the Lord.
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.- 1 Peter 1:8-9
3. Blessings of CONTENTMENT
People without contentment will not receive more blessings because God saw that wether they have less or more they are not content. But is you know how to be content God will bless you more!
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. - Philippians 4:12
4. Blessings of SPIRITUAL GROWTH
In obeying the Lord our God, we will growth in our spiritual walk.
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green. -Psalms 92:12-14
5. ETERNAL blessing
If we obey the Lord our God we will recieve eternal blessing and not eternal death.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16
