Steemitas Club is a new community with the objective to educate and support new Steemians on the steem blockchain. It is a long-term project that will not curate publications of friends nor to vote posts where the effort of content creators is not demonstrated.

This community is curating publications in both Spanish and English. If authors are creating high quality content on Steemit, we are sure that sooner or later one of our team members will find them and vote for their best posts.

The team of Steemitas Club consists of academic people. For example @ritch is a researcher and also curator for Curangel Project. And @jga is a blockchain developer in the steem who has a current proposal for improving the code of the proposal system. According to our growth and the capability to onboard the masses by creating instant accounts to bring new users from Twitter and Telegram, we’ll accept more team members.

WHAT

1. The community is curating high quality posts filtered by plagiarism services and reverse image search mainly shared on its discord server and Twitter using the #SteemitasClub hashtag.

2. Delegation to new steemians who have a Steempower lower than 50.

3. Creation of a digital library, we are in the process to share our videotutorials about the newsteem, since how to create an instant account using dlike or oracle-d, to trade sbd or steem in the steemit market.

WHY - I am nominating this community because it is based on the Newsteem mindset to educate and reward only to content creators who put efforts on sharing high quality posts. The steem blockchain has a lot of drawbacks that can be improved by the communities, one is the starting low delegation (only 15 SP). Steemitas club is delegating from 10 to 35 SP additionally to new steemians who contribute to the growth of the community.

HOW The promotion of posts in our discord server is by using botitas. This bot developed by @zenkly allows to share the link of your post only if you had voted and commented one of the last 50 posts in that channel. It helps to the interaction of the community members because manual curation is important part of this ecosystem. We constantly are looking for new steemians by visiting the #introduceyourself tag as well as in telegram channels like Steemit Mafia promoted by @elpausero. We are sharing the steems obtained by the curation reports among the delegators and members of the discord server (depending on the contribution to the growth of Steemitas Club). SteemitasClub had a curation trail, which is used exclusively for organic (manual) curation of quality publications. The discord server is powered with some bots like Banjo (to earn banjo tokens in your publications) and Accord (to translate between Spanish and English). As well as Gina and Tip.cc bots. We also had an English-chat channel for steemians who speak only English. Our gratitude @Steemita-bot is powered with other tokens like spaco, blq, pal, and photo. It votes automatically for whitelisted members and delegators that support the growth of this long-term project.
