Smallsteps portrait art

It had been awhile since I did anything realistic looking so a few days ago I decided to paint @smallsteps as I was pondering some of what she was going through.

I think it turned out pretty cool but of course I could spend a few more days tweaking everything. This took a couple days to complete but it was a good for me to work on the realistic skills. Most of this was done in Procreate with a painting brush. The good thing about painting “babies” is their skin is so smooth it’s easier to blend and make look realistic.

@tarazkp takes some good pics of here and I really liked the one I used as reference of her in the snow and wanted to try and capture it. I may make another post with some of the process shots when I sift through the stuff. I wanted to post this before weekend lol
