Mayweather Promotions are said to have asked to book MGM Grand Arena for August 26th, 2017.
Mayweather and Mcgregor both stated prior that they wanted to have the fight take place in a bigger arena, aka the new T-Mobile arena, so I'm not sure why Mayweather Promotions would book the MGM Grand Arena.
About 50 percent of people are still not happy about this fight, but do you really expect someone to turn down more money than they have ever made before? Mcgregor would never have to fight again, win or lose.
