The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has decided to introduce a defensive air defense system called Skytrax, which is designed to monitor locally unmanned drones to prevent any illegal intrusion into the airfield.
The Skytrax system is installed by installing a tracking device on every aircraft licensed to fly in Dubai.
The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority is tracking UAVs 24 hours a day. If it approaches the no-fly zones such as Dubai International Airport, the system sends text alerts to FAA officials as well as to the aircraft operator, warning them of immediate change.
