"Coinbase" has announced that the site will now implement SegWit software on Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals.
The transfer is being implemented next week, and the update should improve transaction speeds and reduce fees. SegWit software was introduced in August last year through BIP141 but "Coinbase" was slow to adopt that technology.
