Recently I discovered that I upvoted the posts of a holocaust denier. Although I am not a fan of Israel and its slow-but-steady genocide of the Palestinian people, and its manipulation of US politics, I would never take my fact-based conclusions to such an outrageous extreme as that.
I do believe the German people are currently made to suffer from a collective guilt, sustained for too long as reflected in their extremely weak and self-destructive immigration policies, and the political correctness that ties their hands in dealing with migrants who engage in crime, including horrific acts of violence in the country.
When you have a STREEMIAN Curation Trail Operator who is also using Winfrey bot, and upvoting every bloody thing that is posted on STEEMIT, you can passively be made to support posts that at best have no quality to them whatsoever, and anything down the redemptive scale that you can imagine.
Re-take control of your voice, do not let others speak for you. It is ok to run a bot locally, so that you upvote a select group of posters that you know generate consistent quality, but anything other than that is dangerous and more than a little pointless.
