What it takes to get $ 20 Steem post. | Ecency

Wondering how #newsteem.is behaving these day. Well everyone is very curious and looking closely to ifs and bits of the new eco system which is slowly growing and getting well appreciated all over.

Steem is the only place where you get reward for content sharing. Or blogging Or vlogging. You can never get such value anywhere else.

Before the much soughted HF 21, I have seen the bid-bot days where anything get into trending just by buying upvotes. No matter what the content is. You can make your post onto trending page just by spending few Steem/sbd.

I have been on Steem since 2 years and I can feel now the good old days are coming back where the whales were concerned of curating the minnows and support them in their Steem journey. So far so good many bot owners have switch to manual curation and awarding the content creator with big rewards. So big that many even getting 100% that makes around 50$-60$ upvote...🤬

Unluckily, I am not the one to fall in those category, and still hanging around somewhere around $1 worth of post. The new ecosystem is designed as such to benefit the author who can get more $20 rewards on their post. Which seems to be impractical to many authors looking in the downtrend time. However observing closely last few days.. I can see it is somewhat possible with the whales playing around. Considering one need to take care of certain basic crieteria. $20 post can only be possible if you manage to pull some heavy upvotes from the fishing big whales who started to swim around after #newsteem brought into picture.

The trend that is going around, I manage to observe few tricks to get to $20 through some meaningful way.

Firstly, if you are good photographer and have some good collection of photos, just make sure to post them all together making it a large picture collection. Make sure the whales get tired of scrolling of the images and rather upvote you looking at some picture quality.😉 Photographers are the one always get hold of whale attention. Even if you do not write much content still the number of photographs may get you a good upvote.

Make sure to have genuine photography skills

Secondally, In case you love writing, make a big post. Bigger enough to contains 1000 - 1500 words . Images doesn't matter much and even a single image can do wonder. Just make sure posting the meaningful content in all possible ways. The larger the content the higher chances of getting whale curated on the post. Whales in particular love to see the length on which you have written the content. They never value post having 500 or less words. But do make sure the word counts only contains the content . Not like you make a big signature contemt at the bottom having more words than your content.🌝

To add one, do write up a meaningful content and avoid any kind of plagariarism.

Thirdly, If you are one of the well known personality of #oldsteem you have the biggest probability of getting whale upvotes. All the hard work done earlier are reaping the rewards now for them. People who manage to pull whale attention through commenting and engaging is now getting the rewards from the whales.
So either you were active on discord or Steem and keep yourself hooked you you have the happiest moment coming your ways. Just get ready to have all the happiness collected at one go.

In case you were missed in #oldsteem now it is the time to be active and started engaging in different discord or Steem posts.

Fourth but not the least, never let your patience run out. Keep the waiting period on and clock ticking, as you never know when your luck would stuck and hit the jackpot. Keep posting good content and keep waiting to get the upvote shower. May be from anyone, be it ocdb, or smartsteem or theycallmedan.

Waiting and keeping patience is always fruitful. Be it on Steem or be in the life. Hopefully, the hardwork that you put in on Steem get rewarded at the right time.

Fifth in case, you do not get any, then keep Steeming, as somthing is better than nothing. Expectation reduces Joy so why to keep expecting of good upvotes when you can be happy with whatever you are reaping. Sounds impractical but greed have no place in life. Instead make other happy and keep engaging to make your presence count and do realize the big players of your whereabouts.

Don't bother I have been on Steem since 2 years and I have learned many things over the period. Many a times I even wanted to get on the list of autovoter account like @ripperone, @mangos, @alexis555 , @myreader and so on. But hardly ever get their attention.

I always dreamt of getting @blocktrades votes which kept me going and once I had which I assume my biggest success on Steem. Like everyone , me too want big reward but I never get demotivated and kept Steeming.

With the new updated version post HF 21/22 I feel I have a chance once again, to get into lime light and get BBiigg rewards. I have seen two different Eras of Steem.

One with bid-bot and one prior to it where everyone was happy and whales were taking care of everyone. Though I lived the second very little, but i can understand how beautiful it was.

I am feeling the same environment once again. And hope to see happy faces with everyone has a chance of getting the big rewards anytime.
