Once in a life time , there comes a voice that makes magic in everyone ears. And Lata Mangeshkar is one such name in India who won many accolades over a 8 decades of her singing. I doubt if any generation never listen to her. Purely Goddess Saraswati in her throat that makes singing so easy and melodious.

Melody Queen, Nightinangle of India, Voice of Millennium are different name she is familiar with. She was also honored with many prestigious award including Bharat Ratna.
It was hard to digest that she is no more. Today she left to heaven at the age of 92. One thing quite remarkable is that today is also the day when we bid adieu to Goddess Saraswati after one day of worshipping.
Her patriotic song "aye mere waton" is one of the most played song during India Republic Day and Independence Day. It was dedicated to Indian soldiers and make everyone teary eye even today. Here is the YouTube link of her song.

It was like she knows somewhere that people remember her for her Voice. In this songs the lyrics is like the Voice is her identity. Which is good to everyone ears.
It was pretty difficult to choose her best as each song is beautifully sung. One of her song which keep coming in my lips more often is "zindagi pyar ka geet hai" teaches us to live live with love.
It was not like she has speciality in soul searching songs. I think she sang for all genre of Indian Cinema. It was dream for every artist to work with her and having her playback voice in their songs.

Indian government announced a two day mourning on her demise. All national flags were down for two days.
It is pretty hardcto forget, not only me but also many upcoming generation. She has soulful voice, and a besutiful human being.
