i think when it comes to raising a kid, indian traditional families were the best. Even today, at my village home, the small kids visit our home they spend more time than their own home, they stay with my Mom, Ask her to cook, or comb their hairs or even to play. honestly, i always find them healthy. it helps them to understand the dynamics of the relationship that we carry. my 10 years old nephew always want to stay with me. It is very interesting to see they grow under watchful eyes of elders with different knowledge and understanding.
