Recently, the Bruansh flower were very much was in news. Completelly Reddish in color , the flower posses many medicinal qualities that even doctors started to belive that it could be a great anti dote for Covid-19. So when I hears about it, I wanted to look for it. Then I understood that it is a special type of flower which only grows in hilly areas.
I asked one of my friend to share me a picture and he sent me this Red beauty.
With the onset of spring season, brought cheers to the people of the state. Being vast area is covered with natural hills, the growing of these Buransh flower is one of the surreal wo Der, one can witness in the Utrakhand state.
These flower are found in higher altitude area of uttrakhand. Mostly in Villages part of hilly area. These are short trees and flowers grows abundantly on them. The entire views looks to be Red. It's scientific name is Rhododendrons and mostly found in Asian region of Himalayas, Nepal, and Pakistan.
During season, villagers engage in plucking and extracting juice from its petals. Buransh juice is believed to have high medicinal properties and is widely sold across the state and outside generally in the form of processed squash
And this is what pull many biologist to belive that this flower can prove to be a boon during the pandemic.
Uttrakhand is itself a natural place and with the onset of spring the entire area get too vibrant and fresh. It appears to be heaven with new petals and leaf coming out of the trees.
It is wonderful to see how people of hilly areas still belive in natural juice that prevent them from falling into diseases. These flower does seems to have a magical power for thr local people. Hope we can plant them in plain areas of India.
