Bug: Multiple notification for Follow & Unfollow in EsteemApp.
Expected behavior
The notification option in EsteemApp should send only 1 (One) Notification for "Follow" and "Unfollow" action on your account.
Actual behavior
Post Android update EsteemApp notification option is sending multiple notification for one action instead of one for "Follow" and Unfollow"
How to reproduce
EsteemApp setting option gives us to activate all the notification messages relating to the Steemit activity i.e voting, comment, follow, and unfollow. refer below screenshot
The Follow notification states that , you will get a notification on follow and unfollow on your account:
However, on activating the notification option , we are getting multiple notification of Follow and Unfollow by a single action on Steemit. refer below screen shot. where a person follow me and received multiple notification, similarly, a user unfollow me, i received multiple notification i.e more than one
The same notification error are not getting on other notification option like of Comment, see below example, where we are getting a single notification for a Comment action on Steemit by a single user.
- Browser: Android 5.1.1
- Operating system: EsteemApp (updated version)
Recording Of The Bug
Recording of the bug cannot be possible, as the notification issue is from the Esteem app server, where, the notification are coming multiple times.
Also, would like to highlight, the issue has started post the Android update by esteem app team. Earlier, it was pretty good, and I used to received only a single notification for each action on my Steemit account
