What you become is determined by How you behave.
It is your attitude that determines your altitude. The major determinant for success is your attitude.
To make a record breaking success, you must know the right kind of attitude to develop and deploy in your affairs.
Attitude is an inward feeling displayed through outward behaviour. It affects how people respond to you.
Despite Naomi's depression, Ruth's right attitude brought a life changing connection with Boaz.
"Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?
And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore". (Ruth 2:10,11)
POINTS TO NOTE:
°ATTITUDE CAN BE PERCEIVED BY OTHERS.
"And Jacob noticed that Laban’s attitude toward him was not what it had been" (Genesis 31:2 NIV). A good relationship can be destroyed by a bad attitude.
°ATTITUDE CAN BE PERCEIVED BY GOD.
"But my servant Caleb has a different attitude than the others have. He has remained loyal to me... "(Numbers 14:24 NLT)
°ATTITUDE CAN BE PERCEIVED BY SATAN AND HIS DEMONS.
"For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came." (Job 3:25,26)
SOME EFFECTS OF ATTITUDE:
°IT AFFECTS ASSOCIATION.
Association with right people will lead to success.
"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18:24)
°IT AFFECTS ATMOSPHERE.
Your attitude determines your choice of words.
"So the two women went on until they came to Bethlehem. When they arrived in Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them, and the women exclaimed, “Can this be Naomi?”
“Don’t call me Naomi,” she told them. “Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter." (Ruth 1: 19,20)
Child of God, the success you enjoy in life is determined by your attitude. Show forth the right attitude anywhere you are.
