Most people work to earn a living - bluntly put, people work for the money. Sometimes the dream job is difficult to pursue initially and it could also require you to stop your money-earning job, so you have to choose between working to earn a living and pursue your dream job. Usually if you have family, you cannot afford to just pursue your dream job and not earn a living. Some people are lucky though because they can earn their living doing their dream job.
