The film is very melo and can make us cry when watching it. The film itself tells about the relationship between Dawson and Amanda who had to separate after a bad incident happened to Dawson. Until 20 years later, they were miraculously reunited. It didn't take long for both of them to come back close and begin to feel the seeds of love that were still left, even though now Amanda was married.
After experiencing a great deal of anxiety, Amanda finally determined to tell Dawson that she still had the same feelings for her ex-lover. However, everything was too late because Dawson had left forever.
The Best of Me has recognized the quality and level of sadness, even the Movieweb website also says that this film is very sad and can make the audience tear down
