INTRODUCING @STEEM-ACCOLADES

Introduction

@Steem-Accolades, as the name implies, is a community on steemit platform set to give out gifts and honorarium to deserving steemians.
This platform was initiated out of a heart of gratitude and support to well-deserving people.

Aim and Objectives

As stated above, steemaccolades is aimed at achieving the following:

1. Celerating and giving honouranium to those outstanding (in terms of suppport to the steemit community) steemians.

2. Supporting old and new steemians to success.

3. Steem-accolades aims at promoting and bringing to recognition quality works (post, contest, meetups, etc) on Steemit.

4. To generally encourage hard work and diligence.

How @Steem-Accolades works

SteemAccolades works in two categories.

- Celebration/honorarium

1. SteemAccolades will carefully select well deserved steemians (by their hardwork in terms of support to the steemit community) to be honored and celebrated weekly on SteemAccolades blog (Not resteeming)

2. A post will be made by @steemaccolades, stating why the chosen steemian is celebrated and honored.

3. 60% payout in SBD will be given as honouranium or support to the celebrant.

4. While the 40% will be used to grow steemaccolades.

- Promotions, adverts and support.

SteemAccolades will be advertising other communities available on steemit, promote quality contest for more patronage.
How?
Steemaccolades will make a post with 50% payout in SBD sent to these communities and contest hosts as a support to the community and advertised contests respectively.

Method of selection

This will be done in two ways alternately.

1. Using vector power: SteemAccolades team has the right to independently choose whom to be celebrated.

2. Nomination: Steemit community will have the privilege to nominate whom SteemAccolades should celebrate, stating why his nominee deserves to be awarded.
   The nominator will receive 10% payout in SBD if his/her noniminee is selected.

Note:

1. This method of selection will be alternated weekly.
2. No steemian is expected to nominate his/her self.

Support

1. Those celebrated may choose to upvote and @steemaccolades post as a support to its success.
2. Nominators are expected to upvote and resteem all posts calling for nominations.
3. SteemAccolades welcomes free donations from the steemit community to aid actualize this goal.

Note:

1. SteemAccolades is NOT seeking for steem power delegation except as a freewill.
2. SteemAccolades will NOT receive any bribe or any Monterey enticement for this favour.
3. The shortest way to be celebrated or promoted on steemaccolades is to keep steeming.
