On a more humourous, even though my family is Jewish, we don't celebrate Chanukah because Orthodox Christmas is cheaper. How, you might ask? Buy a tree on the 26th, when they are on sale for as little as a dollar. Considering the price of trees in recent years, I've contemplated fencing in this one field we're not using and growing some Balsam Firs. Only problem is that it will be at least ten years before any of them will be big enough, and a lot can happen in that time.
