If one or two things cost more, you can attribute it to supply chain issues. If everything costs more, it's safe to call it inflation. One of the biggest problems is that too many people have resigned to accepting inflation as an inevitability, hence their demands for more free money. Combine that with the fixed pie fallacy, hence point № 12 in "Make-Believe America," and you get even more dialectical insanity.
