Soft language like "collateral damage" is just obfuscation meant to keep the normies asleep. The people who are actually aware of what is going on fall into one of two camps: us, and the people who cheer for death.
The anti-war progressives have guaranteed themselves a state of perpetual disappointment. The government will never serve their interests, and yet they keep voting for more of it. Then again, a lot of progs long ago revealed themselves to be pro-war, not because they hate the states they beat the war drums against, but because they hate the people. There are no Israeli civilians, only settlers. I didn't make that up, they made that up. It's a little less straightforward with the Russo-Ukrainian War, but the thinking is the same. From this article:
Civilians pay taxes. Taxes pay for indoctrination. Indoctrinated children join the military. The military commits war crimes. Therefore, civilians are complicit in war crimes, and this makes them fair game. The 80-year-old babushka who lives in Vyatka is responsible for the slaughter of Ukrainian children, so if she visits her grandchildren living in New Jersey, it’s perfectly acceptable to run up to her in the street and bludgeon her to death with a bike lock.
