This is a wolf spider (Lycosa species), one of which is named L. tarantula, after the "tarentella" dance, for some reason; I can't tell you off the top of my head which species your little friend is, as I'm not particularly familiar with Venezuelan fauna. Wolf spiders are some of my favourites, and don't worry, they aren't so quick to bite unless you actually try to pick them up.
