Since I have been on this platform, I have almost always done power up with the rewards of the posts, except on a few occasions, where I needed them for some investment and I dedicated them to something else, but mostly I have always increased my voting power. Thinking, I wondered how much difference can be in the final counts, whether or not I dedicate the full amount of the rewards in power up.

I made some calculations with the help of Excell, assuming a scenario based on my HP, obviously the data are rounded to facilitate the counts and the changes in prices and rewards. Surely, they affect and change the final result over the course of a year, but in percentage terms the final difference between the two choices would vary slightly.
Let's assume a scenario like:
1280 starting HP;
Constant Hive value at $ 0.90;
1 post per day with an average reward of $ 10. for which 2.77 HP and 2.5 HBD will be added, which in the case of the power up are transformed into HP at the constant value of $ 0.90 for Hive, for which 2.77 HP.
Taking into account all constant factors and their exponential increase, such as:
APR of 2.853% on HP;
$ 0.3 daily starting curation rewards; Calculated on $ 0.6 upvote distributed with 10 100% upvotes per day. Obviously it is impossible in real life to vote no more than 100% every two hours, in order to always have the maximum voting power.

To facilitate the final count, all HBD earned up to 1, 2 and 3 years in the hypothesis of not doing the power up, were converted into Hive again at the rate of $ 0.90 per Hive and added to the total. For example, at the end of the third year there would be 5427 HP + 2737 HBD (3041 Hive).
As we can see, over the course of a single year the final difference is not all that high, talking about $ 50 at the current exchange rate. But as the days go by, HP staking interests and the return of curation rewards, which grow exponentially as our Hive Power increases, increasingly affects our final account, up to over $ 500 in three years. For better or worse, the percentage of difference shouldn't vary much based on the change in Hive's price, certainly the more the value grows and the more we earn from a post, the greater the final value we will get.
Dear friends, what do you think of this difference? Obviously this post, absolutely does not want to incentivize one thing instead of another, it is purely for the purpose of showing the final economic difference in Hive that would be assumed by assuming a path with continuous power up and instead one without making power up, but collecting the HBD. Personally, having a long-term project, if there will not exceptions, I opt for the power up, but this does not mean that it is the correct choice. The correct choice must be made according to your needs and projects. Also because in a real situation, external factors and Hive price changes can strongly affect the final value calculated in Dollars, but here we are talking purely about Hive Power and accumulation, without considering changes in value.

Pensando, mi sono chiesto quanta differenza possa risultare nei conti finali, dedicando o meno l'intero importo delle ricompense in power up.

Ho fatto alcuni calcoli aiutandomi con Excell, ipotizzando uno scenario basato sul mio HP, ovviamente i dati sono arrotondati per facilitare i conteggi e le variazioni dei prezzi e delle ricompense. Sicuramente, incidono e cambiano il risultato finale nel corso di un anno, ma in percentuale la differenza finale tra le due scelte varierebbe di poco.
Ipotizziamo uno scenario del tipo:
1280 HP di partenza;
Valore Hive costante a 0,90 $;
1 post al giorno con ricompensa media 10$. per cui verranno aggiunti 2,77 HP e 2,5 HBD, che nel caso del power up vengono trasformati in HP al valore costante di 0,90$ per Hive, per cui 2,77 HP.
Tenendo in considerazione tutti i fattori costanti e il loro aumento esponenziale, come:
APR del 2,853% sul HP;
0,3$ di curation rewards giornaliera di partenza; Calcolati su 0,6$ di upvote distribuiti con 10 upvote al 100% al giorno. Ovviamente 猫 impossibile nel reale, votare ogni due ore non oltre il 100%, per avere sempre il potere di voto al massimo.

Per facilitare il conteggio finale, tutti gli HBD guadagnati fino a 1,2 e 3 anni nell'ipotesi di non fare il power up, sono stati convertiti in Hive sempre al tasso di 0,90$ per Hive e aggiunti al totale. Per esempio alla fine del terzo anno si avrebbero 5427 HP + 2737 HBD (3041 Hive).
Come possiamo vedere, nel corso di un solo anno la differenza finale non 猫 poi cos矛 elevata, parlando di circa 50 dollari al tasso attuale di cambio. Ma man mano che passano i giorni per貌, gli interessi per lo staking di HP e il ritorno delle curation rewards, che aumentano esponenzialmente con l'incrementarsi del nostro Hive Power, influiscono sempre pi霉 nel nostro conto finale, fino ad arrivare ad oltre 500 dollari in tre anni. Bene o male, la percentuale di differenza non dovrebbe variare molto in base alla variazione del prezzo di Hive, certamente pi霉 cresce il valore e pi霉 guadagniamo da un post, maggiore sar脿 il valore finale che otterremo.
Cari amici, cosa ne pensate di questa differenza? Ovviamente questo post, non vuole assolutamente incentivare una cosa al posto di un'altra, 猫 puramente allo scopo di mostrare la differenza economica finale in Hive che si avrebbe ipotizzando un percorso con continuo power up e invece uno senza di fare power up ma incassando gli HBD. Io personalmente, avendo un progetto a lungo termine, salvo eccezioni, opto per il power up, ma questo non vuol dire che sia la scelta corretta. La scelta corretta va fatta in base alle proprie esigenze e progetti. Anche perch猫 in una situazione reale, i fattori esterni e le variazioni di prezzo di Hive, possono incidere fortemente nel valore finale calcolato in Dollari, ma qui stiamo parlano prettamente di Hive Power e accumulo, senza considerare variazioni di valore.
