You are helping to contribute to this snowball of Hive Power and dip into it when creating posts.

You can do the same without the need of a Token sale to “contribute”, that's like askin' for free HP without doin' any effort to earn it. Let alone that you will profit from the Token sale and also offer an upvote in exchange, which equals a vote-sellin' scheme.

It is a more fair and equitable situation than simply buying upvotes.

No, it's simply buying upvotes but not in the old-fashioned way, Just more complicated steps for it to hide it.

You can sell your tokens and forfeit your VIP pass at any time- vote selling does not offer any sort of a refund or redemption.

True, so this is still a vote-sellin' scheme but with an opt-out option.

As a community support account we empower small content creators to stick around and keep posting because they can generate some sort of return for their efforts.

If that's the actual Goal behind it, why not Just find these small content creators and curate them manually, instead of askin' them to buy a Token to be upvoted? Sure, yes, not a vote-sellin' scheme, not at all.
