The amount of options seem to be picking up but what is being asked seems to be becoming more obscure. I've been a generalist and have trained and have experience in sysadmin, Project Management and IT Service Management. The new fad seems to be "IT Project Manager with a first in chemistry" or "IT Service Delivery Manager with an Engineering degree". The IT bit really seems to be taking the backseat with hands off jobs. To be honest I can't believe that all the jobs are legitimate as the adverts are too odd.
