"Interesting" is definitely one way to describe the town 😄. It used to be great in the late 80's and into the 90's but really started to struggle not long after. Retail had died long before the pandemic and it has really gone down hill.

There are lots of schemes on the go to try bring it back to life so fingers crossed things will start to pick up again. There's lots of exciting stuff going on around renewable energy so that will hopefully start to bring more jobs to the area.

For all its downsides I do love it here though.
